by Supertramp
School was written by Rick Davies, Roger Hodgson, recorded in 1974 for Supertramp’s album Crime of the Century. The track opens that album and is a progressive rock piece co-written by Davies and Hodgson, reflecting on the limitations of formal schooling. Although not issued as a single at the time, it later became a fan favourite and has been widely regarded as one of Supertramp’s standout songs.
