I'm glad you enjoyed the saxophone tips. :) I play jazz music as part of an amateur Bigband and I can really recommend finding a band yourself if you are into playing jazz. - Pierre13/02/2022Hallo! Ich habe eine Frage: ich spiele ein Alt - Sax Saxophon seit ca. 1 Jahr und es fällt mir schwer hier eine Einsätzung zu dem Schwirgkeitsgrad vorzunehmen. Jetzt meine Frage- woher weiß ich welcher Schwiriekeitsgrad für mich der Richige ist? Ab wann kann ich sehr leicht , leicht, leicht bis mittel, mittel.. anwenden. - Edward Jones15/02/2022I'm a new adult beginner. I' m so new that I just picked a sax up for the first time today. I'm blowing and I'm only getting air sounds from my horn. I know I'm not musically gifted, but come on!! I guess I have to go back to the weakest reed I can get and start again. I'm coming from not playing the clarinet very well to doing even worse on this. - Pablo from Tomplay23/03/2023Hello. Yes, a weak/soft reed is easier to play (emit sound) but it is also much more difficult to achieve constant tuning over the long notes on a soft reed. So first I would recommend you to use an intermediate reed and, using a tuner app, try to match and maintain the pitch for each note as long as you can. Do this for every note you can play. Do it once for one note without breath breaks until you cannot blow any more (try always to maintain the pitch level checking the tuner app) in the middle, Then try the same thing but using different rhythms/Tonguing.
