Information about the piece |
Original version The Baal Shem Suite by Ernest Bloch for violin and piano, composed in 1923, is one of his most well-known works. It is dedicated to the memory of his mother. The composer called the heart of his suite Rhapsody and then Nigun (melody). The complexity and intensity of this piece are fascinating. Play the score of the second Nigun movement of the Baal Shem suite by Bloch on the violin with a professional recording of the piano part to accompany you. |
