Information about the piece |
Original version adapted for flute The Sonata in A Minor for Arpeggione by Schubert was written for the arpeggione, an ancient instrument which appears to have been born from a romance between a guitar and a cello. Although less elaborate than Schubert's other works, it is a quite charming piece. |
