by Bruch
8 Pieces for Clarinet, Viola and Piano, Op. 83 - No. 2 Allegro con moto was written by Max Bruch, which he composed and published in 1910 in the Eight Pieces, Op. 83. Written near the end of Bruch’s life, the Op. 83 set explores the rich, overlapping registers of clarinet, viola, and piano in a series of contrasting character pieces. The Eight Pieces have since become staple repertoire for clarinet–viola–piano ensembles and are regularly included in recordings and recital programmes.
