by Trust
Antisocial was written by Bernie Bonvoisin and Norbert "Nono" Krief, in 1980 for Trust’s album Répression. The song is a French hard rock track whose lyrics, written by vocalist Bonvoisin over guitarist Krief’s music, denounce a dehumanised, individualistic society and the social alienation of the post‑oil‑crisis generation. “Antisocial” became Trust’s signature song, was later adapted into English, and gained further international exposure through a cover by Anthrax on their 1988 album State of Euphoria.
